About SIRAP
SIRAP is a non-profit voluntary association that was started to bring together international researchers, their families and local patrons.

Time has moved on and now although many of our members are researchers there are many who are in Stockholm for other reasons, work here, live here, are Swedish or from many other countries in the world, in Stockholm for various reasons.

We all wish to lead fulfilling lives in Sweden, and it helps to meet for mutual aid, to build an institutional memory, and to investigate and make use of local possibilities and opportunities.

SIRAP holds regular Club Evening, social activities and trips. We also have an assortment of activity circles. Participants meet new people, learn new & useful information, and have fun.

We welcome anyone interested to join us - and at the moment membership is free!

Many people wonder: what is the 'P' in SIRAP?

There are multiple answers:

People
Patrons
Perspectives
Problems
Pilgrims
Pleasure
Partying

(maybe we best say the answer is being researched...)

SIRAP: a bit of sweetness in the lives of many people here in Stockholm.

We welcome anyone interested to join us.
